GLASS FIBER BRAID
The glass fiber braid is realized with continuous wire type "E", the diameter of the fiber is from 9 up to 11 micron. The glass fiber braid is utilized as thermal protection for hoses and electrical cables in case of high temperature.

TEMPERATURE: fire proofing material for temperature of 550°C and up to 600°C.

It is available also the type HT 86 for temperature up 800°C.

GLASS FIBER BRAID AND RED SILICON TYPE PYROSILTEX

CALZA IN FIBRA DI VETRO e SILICONE ROSSOSilicon Sleeving is a braided sleeving which is manufactured from E-fiberglass yarn. It is used in demanding environments where temperatures reach up to 1000 degrees F (538 degrees C.). Due to its unique construction, wall thickness at a nominal weight increase thereby providing better insulation against heat.

FEAUTURE AND BENEFITS:
Because it is manufactured by the unique braiding process, it is extremely flexible, allows for expansions, and easly conforms. It finds ready application as an insulation and/or protective covering in a variety of industries.

APPLICATION:
It is used to insulate steam tracer lines in oil refineries, as thermal and electrical insulation for the wire and cable industry, in glass manufacturing, for covering times in metal refining, foundries and steel mills, and wherever else a high temperature barrier might be required.

FIBRA DI VETRO TIPO "HT 86"

I prodotti in fibra di vetro "HT 86" per alte temperature, sono realizzati con filati in fibra di vetro "E" testurizzato, ritorti e trattati in modo speciale. Dopo il trattamento, accade una trasformazione nella struttura chimica della fibra, con risultato di un significativo aumento della percentuale di Sio2.

Questo permette ai prodotti "HT 86" di esser utilizzati in modo continuo fino a temperature di 800° C. Non subisce un restringimento significativo fino a 700° C. Data la dimensione della fibra il prodotto non è tossicologicamente pericoloso.

PROPRIETA':
Max temperatura Servizio continuo: 800° C. - Punte di breve durata 850° C. - Resistenza meccanica residua a 850°C >20%. - Resistenza agli acidi alcalini e grassi : molto buona - Resistenza al metallo fuso e schizzi saldatura : molto buona - Restringimento dopo esposizione a 850° C. : < 10% - Stabilità dimensionale a 700°C. : molto buona - Bassa conducibilità termica - Prodotto non tossico ne nocivo.

IMPIEGHI:
Viene utilizzato preferibilmente per isolamenti termici in genere, come elementi compensatori di termo coppie e specialmente là dove i manufatti impiegati presentano I loro limiti di temperatura.
